AI capture for how work gets done

Capture how work happens. Turn it into AI-ready intelligence.

Captifly records your screen and narration in the browser, then uses AI to turn that single session into a titled summary, evidence-backed steps, a narration script, and a checklist you can hand to someone else.

Useful for anyone who has to explain a process: operations, IT, support, finance, HR, and enablement.

Captifly is in early access. We don't have public customer logos yet, so we're not going to show any.

A new category

A screen recording leaves you a video. Captifly leaves you a document.

Screen recording alone

  • Stores a video file
  • You still write the steps yourself
  • Hard to skim or search
  • No summary or script
  • Nothing structured to reuse

Captifly

  • Records screen, mic narration, and optional camera
  • AI drafts a title, summary, and intended audience
  • Extracts steps tied back to what was on screen
  • Writes a narration script and a checklist
  • Replay the recording next to the generated steps

How it works

One recording. Three minutes later, a usable draft.

  1. 01

    Record

Pick a tab, window, or full screen in your browser, add mic narration and an optional camera bubble, and walk through the task the way you normally would.

  2. 02

    Analyze

Captifly pulls keyframes from the recording and sends them with your narration to an AI model that reconstructs what happened, step by step.

  3. 03

    Review and reuse

Read the generated summary, steps, script, and checklist side by side with the replay, then edit anything the AI got wrong before you share it.

Core capabilities

What Captifly does today, in plain terms.

  • Browser-based capture

Screen, tab, or window capture with mic narration and an optional camera bubble. No desktop agent, no install, no admin approval.

  • AI step extraction

Each session is broken into ordered steps with the action taken and the on-screen element it happened on.

  • Draft documentation

A title, plain-language summary, intended audience, narration script, and checklist generated from one take.

  • Evidence-backed steps

Steps are grounded in keyframes from your own recording, so you can check each one against what was actually on screen.

  • Replay alongside results

Play the recording back next to the generated output to verify, correct, and fill in anything the model missed.

  • You choose what is shared

Capture is explicit and per-session: you select the exact tab, window, or screen, and you stop it whenever you want.

What one session produces

  • Step-by-step guide
  • Session summary
  • Intended audience
  • Narration script

Where teams use it

Anywhere someone keeps explaining the same task.

  • Operations

Record a recurring task once and hand back a written procedure instead of a 20-minute video.

  • IT and Help Desk

Turn a walkthrough of provisioning or troubleshooting into a guide someone can follow on their own.

  • Customer Support

Capture how an experienced agent resolves an issue and turn it into a repeatable playbook.

  • Finance

Document an approval, reconciliation, or month-end task while you are already doing it.

  • Human Resources

Write onboarding and employee-admin instructions by recording them instead of typing them.

  • Product and Engineering

Capture a release, QA, or debugging routine and get a draft runbook out of it.

  • Training and Enablement

Convert an expert demonstration into a script and checklist a new hire can actually use.

Business outcomes

What one recording gives you.

No projected savings, no benchmark claims. This is simply what comes back after a session.

  • 1

    Recording in, full draft out

  • ~3 min

    Typical time to generated results

  • 5

Outputs: summary, audience, steps, script, checklist

  • 0

Data handling in early access

How your captures are stored, and who can reach them.

Captifly is in early access and has no user accounts yet. This section describes exactly how the product handles data today, maintained by the Captifly team. It is a description of current behaviour, not a certification or a compliance claim.

  • No sign-in: a random device ID is generated in your browser and links your captures to that browser
  • Clear your browser storage and that link is gone; you can move the ID to another browser from Settings
  • You pick the exact tab, window, or screen each session, and the browser shows a sharing indicator throughout
  • Mic and camera are optional and off unless you turn them on; there is no background or always-on monitoring
  • Recordings, keyframes, and generated documents are stored in Captifly's cloud so the AI can analyze them and you can reopen them later
  • Every capture has a share link — anyone with that link can view it, so treat it as public and don't record sensitive material
  • Delete a capture from your library at any time; there is a short undo window, then the record is removed
  • No automatic retention or expiry yet, and no redaction, exclusion rules, SSO, roles, or audit history — those are on the roadmap

Because there are no accounts, we can't tie a capture to a person, and anyone using the same browser profile sees the same library. Don't record customer data, credentials, or anything you wouldn't be comfortable sharing by link.
